Non Exclusive groups

For non exclusive use, group rates are as per individual rates with one complementary guide or facilitator in a facilitators room for groups of 6 guests or more. A 2nd facilitator may share accommodation at the rate of R 2500 per night.

Note: For non exclusive groups, accommodations will be made to keep the group together for game drives and activities as much as possible, but cannot be guaranteed. A safari vehicle can accommodate 9 guests at a time, plus 1 facilitator in the front with the driver.

Exclusive Use groups

Enquire for exclusive use rates. Maximum 16 guests in 4 single rooms and 6 twin rooms, plus 2 facilitators or group leaders in 2 facilitators rooms (we have 1 double and 1 twin facilitator room available for max 4 facilitators).

On special request we can accommodate up to 20 guests in 6 twin rooms, 4 doubles (only appropriate for couples sharing a bed).

Airport Transfer rates from Eastgate Airport (HDS) to Sashwa.

• 1 -2 persons: R1500
• 3-5  persons: R1750
• 6-12 persons: R2500

All rates are quoted in South African Rand and inclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT) at 15%, and subject to change.

Insurance

It is essential that guests have sufficient travel insurance prior to arrival to cover medical costs, emergency evacuation, repatriation, loss or damage to personal belongings and cancellation.

Guests are required to sign an indemnity form on arrival.

General

Sashwa River of Stars (ROS) shall not be held responsible for any damage to or loss of any property whether belonging to the client or any of the guests, nor shall Sashwa ROS be responsible for any personal injury which may be sustained by any guests or by any directors, servants or agents of the client, whether such damage or personal injury be caused by, or arise from the negligence of Sashwa ROS or its employees or otherwise. The client hereby indemnifies Sashwa ROS and all its directors, servants or agents of the client in respect of such personal injury, loss or damage.

Community / Conservation Levy

We do not charge any extra levies; however we encourage a donation in benefit towards our community and children’s environmental education camp KORU CAMP.

Children

Children over 16 years are welcome at Sashwa River of Stars. A single child accommodated in their own suite will attract the full single adult rate. Children of all ages are welcome for exclusive use group bookings. Please note that there is an unfenced swimming pool.

Wilderness Walks

Our wilderness walks are subject to availability, weather conditions, fitness level of participants and strictly under the discretion of our Head Guide.

To secure your booking the following non refundable deposit is required:

Individuals:

• 25% deposit required at time of reservation
• Balance payable 45 days prior to arrival
• 100% payment required if booked within 45 days of travel

Cancellations

Cancellations must be received and acknowledged by Sashwa by electronic mail.  All refunds will incur a 3% admin charge on total amount refunded to cover processing costs.

Individuals: 

• 25% cancellation applies if canceled 45 days or more prior to arrival
• 100% cancellation if canceled within 45  days of arrival
