Whilst mom was busy feeding, we watched as her baby slowly gained confidence - coming out from hiding to first show us how 'big and scary' he or she really is before finally deciding we weren't a threat and settling in for some milk.

Such a wonderful encounter to see how relaxed mom was, trusting us alongside her precious infant. By encouraging slow safaris where we take time to sit quietly in sightings and truly absorb them, we reveal unforgettable moments like this 🐘

Sometimes the small moments become the ones we remember most...

A quiet morning meditation by the river whilst elephants meander by. Paint and conversation flowing in the Creative Studio. Sundowners shared as the sky changes colour. Laughter, music, and our team dressed in traditional clothing, bringing energy and celebration to the evening.

Recently, we were fortunate to host a very special group marking a wedding celebration, and these little snapshots felt like a beautiful reminder of what gatherings at Sashwa can become. Not just an occasion, but a collection of moments woven together by nature.
